Youth camping and outdoor education programs from JDH CAMP WISDOM INVESTMENT LLC.
Our flagship program offers multi-day outdoor adventures for campers ages 8 to 13. Activities include hiking on marked trails, canoeing on supervised waterways, introductory rock climbing with professional belay systems, and camping skills instruction. Each session is led by trained counselors with a staff-to-camper ratio of 1 to 6. Adventure Camp focuses on teamwork, confidence building, and environmental stewardship.
An intensive leadership development program for teens ages 14 to 17. Participants complete a structured curriculum covering communication skills, conflict resolution, group facilitation, project planning, and peer mentoring. The program includes hands-on leadership opportunities, community service projects, and a culminating certification that provides eligibility for paid staff positions. Many of our current counselors are Leadership Academy graduates.
Designed for younger campers ages 6 to 10, Nature Discovery provides gentle introduction to the outdoors through guided nature walks, wildlife observation, basic gardening, arts and crafts with natural materials, and simple ecology lessons. The program fosters curiosity, respect for nature, and foundational outdoor skills in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
